AFFILIATE - Persons in a technical or administrative capacity in allergy or related fields, but do not
necessarily posses a graduate degree.
ASSOCIATE - Physicians who have shown an interest in allergy and immunology, but are not ABAI Board
eligible.
EMERITUS - Physicians who have been dues paying members for 25 years and permanently retired
from the practice of medicine, or dues paying members for 15 years who have permanently retired due to
illness.
IN-TRAINING (FELLOWSHIP) - Fellows are eligible for free membership but need to re-apply for an Active
membership after graduating from the training program.
IN-TRAINING (RESIDENT) - Residents are eligible for free membership but need to re-apply for a In
Training (Fellowship) or Associate membership after graduating from the training program.
